Pagrati Residence

Design Concept: The Art of Repose
The master suite of this private residence was designed as a sanctuary of calm and refined comfort. Moving away from stark minimalism, the studio embraced a “soft-minimal” approach, where clean lines are balanced by rich textures and a warm, tonal color palette, creating an environment dedicated to rest and rejuvenation.
Architectural Symmetry & Detail
The focal point of the room is the monolithic headboard wall, featuring a deep, horizontal niche with integrated LED strip lighting. This architectural element serves a dual purpose: it provides a sophisticated gallery space for curated objects and books, while its warm ambient glow eliminates the need for harsh overhead lighting, adding layers of depth and intimacy to the space.
Materiality & Textures
The design is a sensory experience of textures.
  • Velvet & Linen: The use of plush velvet for the oversized, paneled headboard and the bed frame, combined with high-quality linen layers, creates a luxurious tactile experience.
  • Organic Palette: A harmonious blend of greige, taupe, and warm earth tones ensures a timeless aesthetic that feels grounded and serene.
  • Bespoke Furniture: The custom-designed nightstands, featuring a minimalist wooden structure with a clean white top, provide a light, airy contrast to the solid forms of the bed.
Lighting Design: Sculptural Brilliance
A key highlight of the suite is the pair of sculptural table lamps. Featuring triple-stack frosted glass spheres that emit a soft, diffused light, these fixtures act as luminous art pieces, reinforcing the room’s symmetry and enhancing its sophisticated character during the evening hours.
Project Highlights:
  • Integrated Lighting Architecture: Strategic use of niches and hidden LEDs to define space.
  • Textural Balance: A rich mix of premium fabrics and smooth finishes.
  • Curated Simplicity: An uncluttered layout that prioritizes mental clarity and physical comfort.
